What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal PM Data and Interoperability position at Saisystems Health?
What You’ll Do
• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for SaiSystems Health’s data services and interoperability platform.
• Define the architecture and product direction for FHIR APIs, HL7 interfaces, data exchange workflows, and integration infrastructure.
• Lead the effort to organize, normalize, and prepare data assets across the product portfolio to support organization-wide AI initiatives — ensuring data is structured, governed, and accessible for machine learning models, intelligent automation, and AI-driven product features.
• Lead regulatory compliance efforts for interoperability mandates (ONC, CMS, TEFCA) and translate them into product requirements.
• Partner with engineering to design scalable, secure data pipelines and integration patterns that serve both interoperability and AI/ML workloads.
• Build and maintain relationships with integration partners, health information exchanges (HIEs), and standards organizations.
• Mentor and guide the Associate PM for Data & Interoperability on specifications, testing, and documentation.
• Define and track interoperability metrics including API uptime, data quality scores, integration adoption, partner onboarding velocity, and AI data readiness indicators.
What You Bring
• 7 years of product management experience with deep expertise in healthcare data, interoperability, or integration platforms.
• Strong technical background with understanding of FHIR, HL7, API design, and data architecture.
• Experience with or strong interest in AI/ML data requirements — understanding how clean, well-structured data enables intelligent product features and analytics.
• Familiarity with ONC regulations, TEFCA, and CMS interoperability mandates.
• Ability to bridge technical and business conversations, translating complex data concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in a principal or senior PM role with demonstrated strategic leadership.
