What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist – Emergency Residence position at Saint Vincent's Services?
A full-time position is available within our Occupational Therapy department. Requirements include a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and Massachusetts licensure. One ot two years of previous related experience required, preferably with children and adolescents.
Responsibilities: Provide specialty occupational therapy and individualized therapeutic services for youth; facilitate groups, diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, life skills training, sensory integration, and other related services. Flexible hours to meet the needs of the youth in the programs required.
Core Requirements: Effective verbal and written communication skills and capacity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, knowledge of learning disabilities and needs of individual youth; capacity to implement creative individualized programming. Effective time management and organizational skills.
