What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Instructional Assistant position at Saint Timothy Catholic School?
Do you love working with kids and are on fire for your faith? Saint Timothy Catholic School is looking for a candidate to support our students in Preschool as an Instructional Assistant in a four-year-old classroom. You'll spend your mornings supporting the lead teachers, guiding children and providing extra support to those who need it. Expected hours are 7:30-11:30 Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Prerequisites:
a love of our Catholic faith
the compassion to see each student as a child of God
the desire to grow in your profession daily
a passion for the energy and enthusiasm of young children
the ability to maintain a positive and safe classroom environment
the desire to support a lead teacher and function as a team
the confidence to lead small groups and occasionally the class
the ability to prioritize needs throughout the program
Helpful to Have:
experience with young children
flexibility to increase hours as needed
