Physical Therapy Assistant (Maple Grove area)

Ascend Rehabilitation, LLC is an integrated health and wellness program for seniors seeking to maintain independence or recover from life-changing events. Highly trained physical, occupational and speech therapists collaborate with fitness professionals to facilitate individualized programs for optimal health outcomes. We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a part-time role to work in Home health and assisted living facilties in the Maple Grove area.

Job Opening: Physical Therapist Assistant ( PTA )

Locations: will be providing care at Silvercreek on Main in Maple Grove

Status: Hourly

Type: 48-hours per two-week pay period

Shift: Day

Responsibilities: Provides professional physical therapy services using recognized and approved techniques and appropriate professional judgment under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist. Is responsible for providing quality patient care.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association. Licensed in Minnesota.

Special Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations
• Experience working with seniors in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient therapy desired
• Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision
• High level of commitment to compassionate customer service
