Nursing Assistant (Certified) - IHM

Full-Time | Certified Nursing Assistant | CNA

Currently available Shifts and Schedules:

- Morning Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm | Part-Time | 56 hours per two-week pay period

- Evening Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm | Full-time | 80 hours per two-week pay period

- Positions available in skilled and short-term rehab units

- Schedule includes working every other weekend and every other holiday

Pay Range: $21.90 - $28.51 per hour (based on experience), this includes the direct care worker incentive. *Same Day Pay Available*

-Provide direct, hands-on care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans

-Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional condition

-Assist residents with mobility and transfers using approved techniques and equipment (gait belts, mechanical lifts, etc.)

-Support residents with daily living activities while preserving dignity, comfort, and -independence

-Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests

-Promote a positive, respectful environment for residents, families, and team members

Minimum Qualifications

- Successful testing and completion of a State-approved Nurse Assistant Training program

- Current certification in good standing through the Michigan Nursing Assistant Registry is required

- Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations

- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

- Ability to carry out assignments independently and accurately

- Demonstrated sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism

- Sensitivity to resident needs, preferences, and abilities

- Commitment to compassionate, person-centered customer service

- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and transferring residents
