General Description:
This is a full-time faculty position in the Caulfield School of Education. In this role, the faculty member is expected to teach 4 courses per semester, participate in weekly department meetings, contribute to accreditation reports, collaborate with others on university wide committees, and supervise counseling and social work students in field settings. The faculty member will have a robust research agenda that reflects and contributes to the mission of Saint Peter’s University.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach 12 credits of graduate coursework in Counseling and Social Work each semester

Provide academic advising to graduate students in Counseling and Social Work

Engage in scholarly research in Counseling, Social Work, or related fields
-
Contribute to accreditation activities and reports in both Education and Social Work
-
Supervise counseling and social work students in clinical settings
-
Attend and contribute to all department and university wide committee meetings as assigned or elected
-
Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Master of Social Work preferred
- Doctorate in Education or Related Field required
- Higher Education teaching experience
- Experience with National Accreditation processes (Education and/or Social Work)
- Working knowledge of local, state and federal rules and regulations impacting the CCHD
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work with the campus-wide team to advance the program's mission and student learning outcomes
- Experience in the use of MS Office, e-mail, internet, Google apps and other relevant computer software preferred
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
