The IT Educator will:
The Information Technology Educator works with the Education Team, physicians, ambulatory staff, IT analysts, and other subject matter experts to design and build education curricula that support understanding and use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and related computer systems. Conducts end-user training in the utilization of new systems, software upgrades, and new or modified workflows and functions as well as onboarding new system users. Also, responsible for developing and maintaining training materials, scheduling classes, recording attendance, conducting competency assessments, and reinforcement training. Testing and validating HIM enterprise systems, coordinating HIM and IT projects to align timelines, communicating deliverable dates, and defining resource needs.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Education, training certification, or equivalent experience required.
• 1 to 3 years of experience training clinicians in the use of healthcare-related software.
• Experience working with Health Information Management (HIM) software is a plus.
• Ability to accommodate flexibility in training schedule to meet business needs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Salary Range: 65,229.00 - 104,354.00 USD
We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
