The EKG Technician will:

• Confirm physician's order prior to performance of study.
• Explain testing procedure to patient
• Transmit and process ECG from cart to computer system
• Maintain adequate inventory of supplies in order to operate in an efficient manner
• Perform requested study in a skillful and careful manner
• Maintain a good rapport with patients, staff, visitors

Requirements:

• One (1) year of related experience required.
• Technical aptitude required to interpret physicians' orders, utilize Electrocardiograph, maintain equipment, etc.
• Work requires a high level of interpersonal skills to interact with patients and deal effectively with medical, nursing, technical and other staff members.
• Ability to learn the performance of Electrocardiograms on neonatal patients required.
• Work requires light typing ability to produce simple reports, letters, records, etc.
• Work requires standing and walking for prolonged periods of time (85% of work time) as well as ability to push equipment cart throughout the Hospital.

Salary Range: 17.75 - 24.73 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
