Saint Peter’s University Hospital is seeking Adult Emergency Medicine Physicians to join its Adult Emergency Department.
Saint Peter’s is bringing the Emergency Medicine service line fully in-house and actively expanding the department. We are recruiting multiple physicians to build a larger, high-quality, hospital-employed Adult Emergency Medicine group.

Adult Emergency Department Opportunity Highlights
Approximately 45,000–50,000 annual adult ED visits
Adult patient population (18 years and above)
High-acuity, diverse case mix
Collaborative, multidisciplinary care environment
Dedicated nocturnist position
Schedule: 8-9 hr shifts, 120 hrs/month
Full time, part time and per diem opportunities available

Requirements:
- MD/DO licensed in the State of New Jersey
- Recent graduates and experienced physicians encouraged to apply
- Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Current CDS and DEA required
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine
Adult Emergency Medicine Physicians at Saint Peter’s Healthcare System are compensated at an hourly rate based on shift assignment: $235/hour for day shift and $245/hour for night shift. Physicians may be eligible for an additional incentive package tied to pre-established metrics related to productivity, patient engagement, and quality outcomes.
