Registration Representative
Pediatric Cardiology
The Registration Representative will:
- Proficient in the patient registration and scheduling requirements of the Outpatient functions
- Act as the financial interpreter for patients by advising them of their financial responsibilities. Provide patients or their legal representative with concise and easily understood information about their healthcare coverage.
- Receive and screen visitors and telephone calls for department.
- Schedule outpatient services.
- Perform registration process in accordance with Hospital and Departmental policies and procedures.
- Possess a thorough understanding of all other operational functions within the department. Demonstrate proficiency in downtime procedures.
Requirements:
- Medical Terminology required
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- ICD coding experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of third party payer, federal and state regulations desired
- Highly motivated
- Enthusiastic team player
Salary Range: 17.30 - 23.36 USD
We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
