Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- A minimum of six months experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care physician practice setting and/or direct patient care experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion in an accredited Medical Assistant Training program and/or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English.
- Healthcare Provider BLS (AHA) certification is mandatory before start of work.
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia training within 90 days of hire, if required by department.
- Office Laboratory Assistant License from the State of Nevada within 90 days if required by department.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $23.13 per hour
