Responsibilities
The Certified Surgical Technologist I prepares sterile supplies and instruments for procedures, maintains the sterile field, and provides surgeons with necessary supplies during assigned cases.
Qualifications
To be successful, you must have a high school diploma or GED, a CST certification, and experience scrubbing procedures in various specialties, including general surgery, urology, and gynecology. You should also be proficient in performing laparoscopic, open, or robotically assisted cases.
