Development Manager
- Annual Salary-$55,000-$60,000

Responsibilities and duties for SMHFC Development Manager: The Development Manager is responsible for supporting the Development Director with the overall fund development plan for the agency and helping to successfully reach all annual targeted goals and metrics.
- Maintain proficient knowledge of the organization’s history, mission, vision,
- values, and programs.
- Database management.
- Assist the Development Director with all departments and/or agency correspondence and mailings (including queries and mail mergers).
- Manage gift processing and gift acknowledgements utilizing Raiser’s Edge.
- Processing financial reports and queries as needed by the Development Director.
- Preparing gift deposits for the Finance Department.
- Assist the Development Director with the coordination and execution of all Agency special events.
- Community Liaison for partnerships.
- Assist with the Board Mtg. (Board Chair and Development Director will provide assistance).-Board Mtg. Minutes in conjunction with the Development Director.
- Manage all volunteer groups and activities.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree and at least three years of Development/Fundraising & Grant experience required. Demonstrated proficiency with Raiser’s Edge, Word, Excel, current office practices and ability to learn new software packages required.
