The successful candidate will perform all accountabilities associated with compounding, preparing, distributing, and charging of medications within our inpatient facility.
Shift Details
- Full-Time Days
- 6:00AM - 2:30PM
- Weekend and holiday Requirements
- Medication Management: Pick, fill, and deliver medication orders and manage automated dispensing cabinet (Omnicell) stock to appropriate locations.
- Compounding and Preparation: Accurately prepack drugs and compound a variety of medications, including sterile products, chemotherapy, and special dosage forms (topicals, oral liquids).
- Inventory Control: Assist with maintaining stock supplies within the pharmacy department to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Customer Service: Professionally handle incoming calls and front window requests, assisting hospital staff with questions and requests related to medications and pharmacy services.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in all required department and technician meetings to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Pharmacy Technician License - MO
- Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- Experience: Previous pharmacy technician experience is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential
