CV Technologist

Job Description

Saint Luke’s Hospital is looking for a CV Technologist - Specialist to serve as a mentor and specialize in planning and providing care for patients undergoing:

• diagnostic cardiac catheterization
• interventional cardiac catheterization
• pacemaker and automatic internal cardiac defibrillator implants
• peripheral vascular interventions
• structural heart disease interventions
• other procedures involving the cardiac and vascular systems.
  
  

This position requires current allied health care provider experience. You will be assigned to Saint Luke's Hospital and Saint Luke's Northland Hospital team and will be required to respond within 30 minutes to these locations. You may also be required to work at Saint Luke's East Hospital and Saint Luke's South Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians by implementing and performing a cardiac catheterization plan of care using standards of AORN aseptic techniques, cardiac and peripheral anatomy physiology radiographic imaging techniques and principles of cardiovascular technology.
• Assuming team leader responsibilities.
• Serving as a role model for professional clinical leadership.
• Facilitating growth and development of cardiovascular teams.
• This position requires multi campus work and multi campus call.
