What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist Acute Care PRN Weekend Days SLB position at Saint Luke's Hospital?
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the administration, interpretation and evaluation of tests and measurements. The OT plans and modifies treatment programs for adult patients with clinical competency, as applicable.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: No previous work experience necessary. After completion of 3 full years/beginning of 4th year may be eligible for Occupational Therapist Level II.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Clinical experience in variety of settings, Hand Therapy, Ergonomics, as well as marketing and business familiarity. Spanish Proficiency
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NEW GRADUATES: Possession of current Texas State license prior to orientation. ALL OTHERS: Possession of current Texas State license.
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS-Obtained thru approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.
