Job Description
This Paramedic position performs duties within their scope of practice in an Emergency Room facility setting, under the direction of the on-duty provider.
The Paramedic must have a current Paramedic Certification in the applicable state, with at least 1 year of Paramedic experience.
- Care for Emergency Department patients
- Perform patient care tasks under the direction of a provider
- Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures
