Saint Luke Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
We are looking for an educator who loves working with young children and is committed to helping students grow academically, socially, and spiritually in a Catholic school environment.
In this role, you will teach all core Kindergarten subjects, including religion, and help build a joyful, structured classroom where students feel supported and ready to learn.
What you’ll do:
- Teach Kindergarten students across core subjects and religion
- Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
- Support early literacy development (Science of Reading practices preferred)
- Manage classroom behavior with consistency and care
- Communicate effectively with parents and families
- Support the mission of Catholic education in daily instruction
What we’re looking for:
- Strong commitment to the Catholic faith and mission of Catholic education
- Passion for teaching young learners
- Strong classroom management skills
- Familiarity with early literacy instruction / Science of Reading preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Requirements:
- Must submit a completed application to the Diocese of Arlington
- Willingness to obtain VCEA certification
