Summary of position:
The Service Advisor is responsible for assisting customers with their vehicle repair needs by acting as the primary liaison between the customer and the service repair teams.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers, listen to their concerns, and provide timely responses.
- Educate clients about the company’s products, services, and offers.
- Schedule appointments, take orders, monitor service progress, calculate charges, and process payments.
- Review customer accounts and report changes to internal staff.
- Manage complaints, returns and resolve customer grievances.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Record customer details and transactions.
- Serve as a customer relationship manager.
- Serve as a link between customers and various departments within the organization.
- Ensure sales goals are achieved.

- 2 years experience in a service advisor role, preferred.
- Proven demonstration of strong customer service skills.
- Tire experience and/or commercial tire experience is a plus.
- Knowledgeable in computer applications and industry-specific software.
- Basic accounting skills and knowledge of electronic payment systems.
- US work authorization.
Required Licenses or Certifications: Driver's License, unrestricted
Work Environment/Expectations:
- Work will occur in well-lit, well-ventilated repair shop locations.
- Exposure is grease, car exhaust and chemicals is expected.
- Background noise from coworkers, vehicles and various tools is expected.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Must wear company branded work attire.
Physical Requirements:
- Bending, sitting and squatting is expected.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Regular use of computer keyboard and telephone.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds routinely.
- Must be able to walk, talk, listen and speak clearly.
- Use of fine motor skills is expected.
