Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Drivers Education Instructor located in St Louis, MO. The Drivers Education Instructor will be responsible for teaching students the knowledge, skills, and techniques required to become safe and responsible drivers. Day-to-day tasks include conducting classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction, assessing student performance, and maintaining accurate records. The instructor will also develop and update training materials, enforce safety regulations, and collaborate with other staff members to support students' overall learning experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in providing classroom and behind-the-wheel driving instruction preferred
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess and document student performance
- High level of patience and ability to work with diverse student populations
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Teaching certification or licensure in driving instruction is preferred
- Previous experience in an educational or training environment is a plus
