Job Summary

The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant servicing of the Bank’s loan portfolio. This role provides essential support to the lending division and contributes to the overall efficiency of the Loan Operations department. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to delivering excellent internal and external customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately set up new, renewed, and modified loans on the Bank’s core processing system.
• Process daily loan payments, including participations bought and sold.
• Reconcile and clear loan-related general ledger accounts on a daily basis.
• Monitor and manage the Loan Admin email inbox, responding to transaction requests, research needs, and other servicing inquiries.
• Establish and maintain collateral exceptions/ticklers for outstanding documentation such as recorded instruments, final title policies, or UCC continuations.
• Maintain physical and electronic loan files, including uploading supporting documents into Nautilus.
• Prepare payoff statements for internal and external customers as requested.
• Provide prompt and professional responses to loan-related inquiries and conduct system maintenance to ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills

•  Experience with Fiserv core processing systems preferred.
•  High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in loan servicing or loan processing across multiple loan types.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage shifting responsibilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Demonstrates flexibility, sound judgment, and the ability to work proactively.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
