Custodian / Cafeteria Support
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Our K–8 Catholic school is looking for a reliable and hardworking Custodian / Cafeteria Support team member to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Support cafeteria operations by cleaning tables, sanitizing surfaces, and assisting with daily lunch cleanup.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors using custodial equipment.
- Remove trash and recycling.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a positive, professional school environment.
Qualifications:
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Custodial, janitorial, or cafeteria experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must successfully complete a New Jersey Department of Education fingerprinting and background check before employment.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
