What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parish Administrative Assistant position at Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church?
Reports to:Priest and the Parish Council.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Responsible to efficiently utilize office technology, including Microsoft Office, Publisher, Excel, Constant Contact, and other software as needed.
· Responsible for mail processing, email management, answering phones, walk-in inquires, church correspondence and maintaining records.
· Responsible for all parish communications, including digital newsletters, print bulletin, event flyers, social media and maintaining digital parishioner database.
· Maintain and manage parish master calendar and ministries scheduling.
· Manage facility scheduling, including conference rooms and classrooms.
· Support Parish Bookkeeper with invoice processing and filing.
· Work with the Parish Council, church personnel, ministry leaders as well as parishioner volunteers to support day to day needs.
· Partner with parishioner volunteers on church sponsored events, as well as other special projects.
Other
· Position is part-time, 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
· At all times maintain extreme and appropriate confidentiality in all church matters.
Pay Rate: Negotiable based on experience.
