Director of Patient Financial Services
Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Patient Financial Services is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of all patient financial services functions within the hospital. This includes billing, collections, insurance verification, patient access, financial counseling, and revenue cycle optimization. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements while maximizing reimbursement and enhancing the patient financial experience.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Required Skills:
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle or patient financial services.
- 3–5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and claims processing.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS regulations, and healthcare compliance standards.
- In-depth understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursement.
- Strong analytical (reporting and revenue forecasting) and financial management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Proficiency with hospital billing systems and EHR platforms (e.g., Oracle /Cerner; EPIC).
- Payor Portals / Electronic Billing/Omin-pro and Epaces.
