Join our Perioperative Services team as a Perioperative Instrument Technician. In this vital role, you’ll support surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and prepare surgical instruments and supplies for procedures.
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical equipment.
- Assist in operating rooms with retractor holding and patient positioning.
- Transport patients safely and maintain confidentiality.
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree in healthcare or OR experience preferred.
- BCLS certification required.
- Minimum 6 months experience in patient care within an invasive/minor procedure environment.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and standard precautions.
- Ability to stand/walk for most of the shift and lift up to 100 lbs.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
