Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients to and from the Radiology Department for imaging procedures.
- Assist with patient preparation, including dressing patients for exams.
- Support daily department operations through stocking supplies and maintaining organized work areas.
- Provide front desk and clerical support, including answering phones and greeting patients professionally.
- Prepare and manage outpatient requisitions, patient reports, and medical records.
- Utilize PACS, computer systems, and office equipment to support efficient workflow.
- Deliver excellent customer service while communicating with patients, physicians, and staff.
- Assist with department errands and additional support duties throughout the facility.
- Maintain strong knowledge of common Radiology terminology and procedures.
- Promote a welcoming, patient-focused environment through friendly and professional interactions.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment
- Transportation experience preferred
- Starting April 2014, all new hires will require a High School diploma or Equivalent.
