Delivering Solutions that Matter:
- Direct and oversee all maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, and environmental services operations to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained healthcare environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, utilities, and grounds to ensure regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including life safety, infection prevention, OSHA, CMS, and Department of Public Health standards, while maintaining readiness for inspections and surveys.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, oversee vendor and contractor relationships, and coordinate facility improvement projects, capital equipment planning, and emergency repairs.
- Recruit, supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance and environmental services staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and high-quality customer service while supporting the organization's mission of resident-centered care.
Qualifications for Success:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have working knowledge of maintenance, housekeeping and laundry operations, in a healthcare or long-term care environment.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
