Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
- Maintain floor care by applying appropriate cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, polishing floors, and using specialized equipment for deep cleaning.
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed meticulously to promote health and safety for residents and guests.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing requests promptly and courteously, creating a positive experience for everyone you serve.
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low to ensure continuous operations.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling and training new team members in residential or hotel environments.
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience is highly preferred, especially within hotel or commercial cleaning settings.
- Experience with residential cleaning tasks such as detailed dusting, bathroom sanitation, kitchen cleaning, and organizing spaces.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing hardwood floors, and using floor scrubbers or buffers.
- Familiarity with laundry procedures for linens and clothing in both residential and hospitality contexts.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or guests to meet their needs.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not required.
- Certification or training in sanitation standards or specialized cleaning methods is advantageous.
