Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist Radiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Process, review, and transmit images to PACS accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and safe for patient use.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Uphold radiation safety standards and infection control procedures.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- ARRT-CT Certification is required.
- Current Radiology/CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by the State.
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
- BCLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
- Proficient in computer skills, including PACS and electronic medical records.
