What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker position at Saint Johns Unified School District 1?
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, students, and staff.
- Able to obtain or possess an Arizona DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Reports to: Kitchen Supervisor
Job Goal: To assist in the preparation and serving of healthful meals for students and staff.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Practices safety in the kitchen at all times.
- Performs cleaning and cleanup duities on a regular basis and as assigned.
- Assists with meal preparation as assigned.
- Assists with receiving delivery of food when appropriate.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Terms of Employment: 9 months, 5.9 hrs per day. Salary established by the Governing Board. Employee benefits in accordance with district policies.
