Position Overview:
Saint John the Baptist Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled K–5 Elementary Teacher to join our school community for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering academic excellence while nurturing students’ spiritual growth in a Catholic learning environment. This teacher will create a supportive classroom that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning while helping students grow as Christians, Learners, Communicators, and Citizens.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards for elementary students.
- Integrate Catholic values and faith into daily instruction and classroom culture.
- Create a positive and structured classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and guide instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to support student success.
- Participate in school events, liturgies, and the broader life of the school community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field.
- Valid teaching license (or ability to obtain one).
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and staff.
- Experience teaching elementary grades preferred.
Pay: $46,084.30 - $70,000.00 per year
