HIGHBRIDGE HEALTHCAREPOSITION TITLE: PT Evenings 5p-8p shift and weekend day and eveing hours availiableREPORTS TO: Business Office ManagerPOSITION SUMMARY: The Receptionist is responsible for all front desk operationsincluding the phones system and paging. They answer all incoming calls and redirect them tothe appropriate party. The Receptionist greets visitors and gives directions to residents,visitors, and guests and supports clerical activities.RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:1. Receives and directs incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner;2. Compiles reports and completes administrative tasks such as typing and filing; maintainsoffice equipment;3. Maintains and prints current list of residents by name and room number, list of telephonenumbers for all personnel, list of department extensions, names of key personnel and theirextensions;4 Coordinates outgoing and incoming mail to center;5. Assists Business Office with data entry and file maintenance, as required;6. Puts customer service first: Ensures that residents and families receive the highestquality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes theindividuals’ needs and rights;10. Performs other duties as requested.COMPLIANCE:1. Complies with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including butnot limited to those within the Compliance and Ethics Program, Standard/Code of Conduct,SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:1. High school degree or equivalent.2. One year experience in a computerized environment.JOB SKILLS:1. Has strong organizational skills.2. Able to handle a variety of assignments, some of moderate complexity,requiring considerable familiarity with the operating details of the Center.3. Able to interpret and apply departmental procedures.4. Presents a well-groomed, professional image and be courteous and tactful at all times.5. Able to operate a computer and basic office equipment.6. Shows discretion in handling of confidential information.7. Has a pleasant and professional phone manner.8. Able to positively interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors,government agencies/personnel, and the general public.9. Has well-developed verbal and written communication skills.10. Able to work independently, problem solve, and make decisions as necessary.11. Must provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law andin accordance with Company policy. TSTs will be administered at the work site ifrequired.
