PROGRAM DATES: 2026 PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: 2½-week paid training program Program Cost: All cost covered with one year contract with Highbridge facilities Guaranteed 1-year employment commitment upon C.N.A certification Available at 4 Highbridge facilities in Connecticut: Danbury, Norwalk, Stamford, and Hamden.EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED required. Eligible to work in the U.S. and able tospeak and understand English. Hands-on training required for CNA certification. Basic computer skills or willingness to learn preferred. POSITION SUMMARY The CNA Program Trainee will work after successful completion of the course under the guidance of licensed nursing staff, gaining hands-on experience in patient care and preparing for state certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). Participate in training and practice essential CNA skills, including mouth care, bathing, foot care, peri-care, bedpan assistance, and other core nursing tasks. Assist with personal belongings, hydration, and unoccupied bed preparation. Support care teams by gathering supplies and ensuring efficient care delivery. Transport residents to therapy and dining areas as needed. Follow infection control protocols, including standard, contact, and droplet precautions. Maintain cleanliness of linen, utility rooms, kitchen, and nursing areas. Promote safety, teamwork, and a respectful environment for residents, staff, and families. Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
