Saint John Paul II Center is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Admissions to lead census development and referral management at our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong relationships with hospitals, and screens referrals for admission.
What You’ll Do
Manage the full admissions process from referral to admission
Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, case managers, and community partners
Drive census growth and improve payer mix
Conduct daily outreach and in-person visits to referral sources when needed
Track referrals, conversions, and census trends
Collaborate with nursing, social services, and administration
Provide tours and ensure a smooth, positive admission experience for residents and families
What We’re Looking For
Experience in admissions, marketing, or business development in a SNF/LTC setting
Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care
Proven ability to grow census and build referral pipelines
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Highly organized, responsive, and goal-oriented
