⭐ What You’ll Do
As a DSP Supervisor, you’ll combine direct care with leadership responsibilities, including:
- Providing compassionate, person-centered support to individuals in a residential setting
- Leading, mentoring, and training DSPs, Leads, and volunteers
- Assisting with scheduling, staff orientation, and performance evaluations
- Ensuring all DSP duties are completed accurately and on time
- Delegating tasks and maintaining smooth operations during your shift
- Supporting residents with daily living skills, routines, and personal goals
- Maintaining documentation and upholding agency policies
- Promoting a safe, supportive, and home-like environment
- 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of supervisory experience in the developmental disability field
- 1 year of leadership experience
- Valid driver’s license (fewer than 6 points) proof of insurance
- Willingness to drive agency vehicles
- Ability to pass a knowledge and skills assessment
- CPR/First Aid (provided upon hire)
