This position serves as the primary liaison between Saint Ignatius High School and the parent volunteers of the Loyola Society and Fathers' Club, helping to cultivate meaningful parent engagement, strengthen community relationships, and support Advancement initiatives through strategic event planning, communications, and stewardship.
The Assistant Director of Parent Programs serves as a key collaborator across departments and with parent leadership groups to create welcoming, mission-centered experiences that reflect the Jesuit values of Saint Ignatius High School.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, customer-serviceoriented, and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively manages multiple priorities, and demonstrates strong communication, project management, and relationship-building skills. This individual will partner with Advancement and fundraising staff to strengthen parent engagement and philanthropic support by developing strategies that move parents through the engagement pipeline, while also supporting donor cultivation, community-building through parent programming, onboarding and stewardship of Loyola Society Lifetime Members, and broader departmental initiatives.
This is a full-time, 12-month position reporting to the Director of Special Events.

Primary Areas Of Responsibility
Parent Programming & Event Management
- Execute and manage all aspects of parent programming events and activities, including planning, execution, logistics, and follow-up - including but not limited to managing timelines, communications, registrations, vendors and rental coordination.
- Serve as the primary liaison for all Loyola Society and Fathers' Club initiatives and events, collaborating closely with internal departments including Campus Dining, Campus Ministry, Facilities, Athletics, Communications and Administration.
- Coordinate meetings with Loyola Society leadership, Fathers' Club leadership, school departments, and external vendors
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and communications for parent initiatives
- Manage day-of event operations and troubleshoot logistical issues as needed
- Attend and support Advancement Office events as requested
- Develop and manage comprehensive marketing and communication plans for parent programming
- Create and edit copy for email communications, newsletters, website updates, social media, and event materials/messaging, among others
- Coordinate social media and website content submissions with the Communications Office
- Manage event registrations and constituent records through Blackbaud Raiser's Edge
- Maintain accurate event registration spreadsheets and attendee data
- Generate reports, queries, and mailing lists as needed
- Process invoices, reimbursements, and event-related payments
- Coordinate mailings and constituent communications
- Ensure accurate event listings on school calendars and internal systems
- Professional attitude, demeanor, and work ethic

- Commitment to the Catholic faith and Jesuit values
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum 13 years of experience in event planning, Advancement, communications, volunteer management, or related field
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience coordinating volunteers and committees preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google workplace, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge. Knowledge of Greater Giving, Square, Canva preferred.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends for events and school functions
