What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Teacher position at Saint Gregory's School?
Saint Gregory’s School seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated elementary teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. Saint Gregory’s is a private, independent Catholic school serving students from age 2 through eighth grade and is located in Loudonville, New York.
The classroom teacher will be responsible for providing age-appropriate, engaging lessons within the framework of the School’s curriculum. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, effective classroom management, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and families. Collaboration as part of our Lower School team is an important component of this role.
Experience working with elementary-aged children is required, with AIS (Academic Intervention Services) and reading experience preferred. The successful candidate should be flexible, enthusiastic, organized, and committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students.
