The Quality & Process Control Manager located in Ravenna, Ohio will be accountable to ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is implemented per requirements and to report areas of concern to Management. The Quality & Process Control Manager will be expected to ensure the plant remains in full compliance with regulatory and ISO requirements as they pertain to the plant, customer specifications, and corporate quality policies. The Quality & Process Control Manager will also be responsible for identification and implementation of projects to reduce waste and improvement processes through WCM methodologies.

Essential Functions Include
- Quality Management System (50%)
- Oversee implementation and compliance of the site Quality Management System (QMS) with corporate policies, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage document control, change management, supplier quality, audits, risk management, and training programs.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Oversee product/material testing and approve quality control (QC) results.
- Team Leadership & People Management (40%)
- Lead and develop the Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering teams.
- Set daily priorities, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build a strong, collaborative team culture focused on quality, accountability, and professional growth.
- Directly manage 2 salaried and 6–10 hourly employees.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to direct reports.
- Take ownership of the facility QMS and ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Inspire buy-in across the organization for quality standards and improvements.
- Act as a problem-solver and visionary, setting goals for the Quality Department and executing against milestones.
- Customer Quality (10%)
- Manage customer quality interactions, including audits, corrective actions, and quality agreements.
- Partner across departments to resolve quality issues and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Bachelor's degree Engineering, Operations or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience as part of a quality organization in a highly regulated industry (preferably aerospace).
- 5 years’ experience managing, growing, and developing direct reports.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards ISO9001 and/or AS9100 is preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of LEAN manufacturing concepts
- Strong project managements skills
