The Customer Account Specialist is designed to manage the unique demands of high-volume customer accounts, serving as a strategic partner in customer operations. The Specialist will own the end-to-end customer lifecycle for designated accounts and proactively coordinate cross-functional efforts to meet evolving customer expectations in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

• Process sales orders from customer purchase orders with precise contract review, compliance validation, and accurate system entry.
• Serve as a first-line resource for complex inquiries via phone and email, including detailed lead-time estimates, product availability, technical specifications, and real-time shipping updates. Maintain a deep understanding of customer-specific requirements and operational nuances to tailor support and drive repeat business.
• Manage billing discrepancies, chargebacks, and last-minute escalations, partnering with internal teams to provide swift, effective solutions. Serve as a first-line resource for complex inquiries via phone and email, including detailed lead-time estimates, product availability, technical specifications, and real-time shipping updates.

Required Skills & Experience:

High School Diploma required.

Associates/Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting / Engineering or related field preferred; Successful and applicable work experience of 5 years may be acceptable in place of a formal degree.

3 years experience customer service, sales and/or pricing management required

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $27.00 to $38.00 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs./week * 52wks)) for this position, is $61,776 to $86,944. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
