Labor Grade: 10
Starting Pay: $31.00 per hour, plus applicable skill pay and shift differential
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shift (schedule subject to change based on business conditions)
Openings: 4 Positions Available
Reports To: Manufacturing Manager / Production Lead
Position Summary
This position plays a key role in supporting Specialty Alumina and other production areas across the plant by operating and troubleshooting process equipment, monitoring product quality, and ensuring safe, efficient production.
The Electronics II role has been created to provide expanded process support as the facility continues to grow, including the addition of new milling and kiln capacity. The position will serve as a primary or backup resource across multiple departments and processes, helping maintain operational flexibility and production continuity.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment to support safe, efficient, and continuous manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and take appropriate corrective action.
- Support multiple production areas, including milling, kiln operations, treatment systems, crushing, neutralization, and other designated process areas.
- Perform product testing, sampling, and quality checks as required.
- Collect, record, and maintain production and process data.
- Assist with startup, shutdown, changeovers, and routine process adjustments.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and support plant 5S initiatives.
- Follow all safety procedures, environmental requirements, and lockout/tagout practices.
- Cross-train and provide operational support where needed throughout the facility.
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work safely and independently in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and schedule changes as business needs require
- Previous industrial manufacturing experience
- Forklift experience or certification
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience operating production equipment in a process manufacturing environment
