The HVAC/R Mechanic is directly responsible to the HVAC/R Supervisor for the maintenance of the heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration and related equipment and systems. Also assists the HVAC/R Technician in the maintenance of the above equipment.
High school graduate with vocational technical training in heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration is preferred. Knowledge of HVAC/R equipment maintenance and repair required. Knowledge of blueprint reading as it pertains to HVAC/R systems. Ability to operate computers is essential. Minimum of one year of related experience in heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration field required. Swing shifts are required; off shift call in when needed possible.
