Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in system administration, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, M365 and Group Policy management.
- Experience with supporting systems (e.g., EMR, PACS, LIS).
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with data storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS) and backup tools.
- Understands hospital business operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.
- Open to travel when required.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), VMware Certified Professional, or equivalent are preferred.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) and Windows security best practices.
