Job Details And Requirements

Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits)
Education:
- Associate degree in Science or Allied Health Field required (Nursing, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiovascular Technologist, etc.)
- Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Sonographer (RCDS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or
- CCI registry are required within one year of hire date.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk
- Experience in M-mode, 2D Imaging, Color Doppler, Transesophageal Echo (TEE), Stress Echo, Dobutamine Stress Echo and Contrast Echoes.
- Working knowledge of Ultrasound Equipment, digital archiving, pediatric ultrasounds- preferred.
- Pediatric ultrasound training and experience preferred
