Job Summary
Duties: Performs inpatient and outpatient diagnostic psychological evaluations using age specific factors as ordered by physician. Performs psychological evaluations to assist in the development of rehabilitation plans for outpatients and inpatients. Documents results of treatment and patient’s progress. Actively participates in rehabilitation team clinical meetings, as needed. Actively participates in program development services. Provides education to patients and families related to psychological manifestations of their medical conditions. Acknowledges the physicians’ plan of care and practices in a collaborative relationship with the physician and other connected disciplines.
