What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tech, Lab (Student) position at Saint Francis Health System?

Job Summary: Collects and prepares specimens for testing, conducts routine laboratory tests, and assists technologists as directed.

Education: College science prerequisite courses for medical technology degree required and enrollment in the SFHS accredited School of Medical Technology.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Meets the qualification requirements of CLIA ’88 to perform moderate to complex testing.

Work Experience: 0 - 6 months related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Adequate keyboarding skills to use the computer efficiently.
