Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm (hours may vary depending on organizational needs)
Job Summary: The Supervisor, Engineering Operations (Muskogee) oversees the Central Plant and Hospital with associated systems and controls. This role assists in project activities involving mechanical systems.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: 1st Class Stationary Engineers License, Mechanical Journeyman License, Electrical Journeyman License or Universal Refrigeration License.
Work Experience: Minimum 8 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to supervise effectively and maintain appropriate scheduling. Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints concerning mechanical systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Supervises the engineering operations for the hospital, associated systems, and controls. Assists in developing plant operation components of operating and capital budgets. Assists in project activities involving mechanical systems. Devises and implements energy conservation activities. Ensures all required training for operators is scheduled and completed on time.
Decision Making: Independent judgement in making decisions involving non-routine problems under general supervision.
Working Relationships: Direct supervision of others. Prepares and gives performance evaluations. Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above.
