Full Time/Part Time Seasonal Program Total Hours Per Week 35 From Salary 19.24 To Salary 19.24
Job Summary
The One-To-One Assistant in the 853 Special Education School assists the special education child with objectives set forth in the child's Individual Education Plan (IEP).
Duties & Responsibilities
The summer program is a 6-week program from 7/6/26-8/14/26. It a fun and rewarding program for both staff and students. Summer program allows for more activities and recreation including swimming and outdoor activities to help children thrive, develop, and enjoy the summer.
Duties
High School Diploma or Equivalent. There are entry level positions but we do prefer some work experience with children (special education preferred).
Physical Requirements
Able to provide physical “hands on” intervention when necessary. Must be energetic and able to keep up with the student's pace.

Duties
- Assist child in daily activities
- Prepare instructional-materials as-directed by teacher
- Monitor/oversea student’s mealtime, appropriate clothing, and bathroom breaks
- Supervise and interact with the student during meals
- Meet and escort student to and from the buses
- Write in notebooks and/or translate for parents
