Saint David Catholic School in Davie, Florida has an opening for a full-time Kindergarten Teacher for the upcoming 2026- 27 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for kindergarten students. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with certification and years of service.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood education.
- FDOE Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education, temporary or professional required.
- Experience required in teaching early childhood.
- Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese of Miami Office of Catechesis within three years of hire.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong presentation skills with the use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in Google, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills, including a clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Fully committed and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church with knowledge of basic tenets of the Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
