Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining a log of all of the journal entries and preparing the majority of the journal entries in the general ledger, analyzing appropriate balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, calculating and reconciling depreciation of all the fixed assets accounts, preparing bank reconciliation on a monthly basis, and preparing annual work papers for year-end audits.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.

Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent required.
- Four to Six (4-6) years hospital/healthcare accounting/finance experience preferred.
- Proficient in business software applications.
- Working knowledge of windows based personal computers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Current CPA preferred.
