St. Anthony’s Tri-Parish Catholic School in Casper, Wyoming is seeking a faith-filled
mission-driven, and visionary principal to lead our vibrant PreK - 8th grade Catholic school
community.
The principal is responsible for: serving as the spiritual, instructional, and executive leader of the
school, entrusted with advancing its mission of forming students in faith, academic excellence,
and service; fostering a vibrant Catholic identity by further developing our Catholic Liberal Arts
Curriculum; ensuring high-quality teaching and learning through effective leadership,
supervision and development of staff; and providing operational and strategic leadership.
The principal works collaboratively with the Tri-Parish community, School Board, Foundation
Board, Diocese of Cheyenne, faculty, staff, students, and families to sustain and grow a thriving
Catholic school. The principal is appointed and evaluated by the St. Anthony’s Tri-Parish
Catholic School Board.
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with a strong commitment to Catholic
education
- Master’s degree or higher in Educational Leadership, Administration or a related field
- Minimum of five years of teaching and/or administrative experience
- Experience in Catholic education is strongly preferred
- Successful completion of the Diocesan background check and safe environment training

Position Overview
The Principal of St. Anthony’s Tri-Parish Catholic School serves as the spiritual, instructional,
and executive leader of the school, entrusted with advancing its mission of forming students in
faith, academic excellence, and service.
The Principal is responsible for fostering a vibrant Catholic identity, ensuring high-quality
teaching and learning, and providing effective operational and strategic leadership. The
Principal works collaboratively with the Tri-Parish community, School Board, Diocese of
Cheyenne, faculty, staff, students, and families to sustain and grow a thriving Catholic school.
The Principal is appointed and evaluated by the St. Anthony’s Tri-Parish Catholic School Board
of Directors.
Core Leadership Responsibilities
1. Spiritual Leadership
- Serves as a visible and active witness to the Catholic faith
- Ensures that Catholic identity permeates all aspects of school life, including curriculum,
culture, policies, and relationships
- Promotes regular opportunities for prayer, liturgy, sacramental life, and Christian service
- Supports and nurtures the spiritual development of students, faculty, and staff
- Collaborates with pastors and parish leadership to strengthen the connection between
school and parish life
- Communicates and models Gospel values in all interactions
2. Mission and Community Leadership
- Articulates and advances the mission and vision of St. Anthony’s Tri-Parish Catholic
School
- Ensures that all decisions, policies, and practices align with the school’s Catholic identity
and mission
- Builds a culture of trust, collaboration, and mutual respect among all stakeholders
- Maintains strong, transparent communication with families, parish communities, and the
broader Casper community
- Fosters meaningful engagement with the School Board, Parent Teacher Organization,
and parish partners
- Cultivates a welcoming, inclusive, and faith-filled school environment
3. Instructional and Academic Leadership
- Serves as the chief academic officer, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning
- Oversees curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation in alignment with
Catholic educational standards
- Promotes the integration of faith and learning across all subject areas
- Uses data to inform instructional decisions and improve student outcomes
- Supervises, supports, and evaluates teachers through ongoing observation, feedback,
and professional growth processes
- Ensures appropriate support for diverse learners and promotes student success at all
levels
- Encourages innovation, effective instructional practices, and the thoughtful use of
technology
4. Personnel Leadership
- Recruits, hires, develops, and retains high-quality faculty and staff committed to the
mission of Catholic education
- Provides clear expectations, ongoing supervision, and regular evaluation of all personnel
- Fosters a culture of professional growth, collaboration, and shared leadership
- Addresses personnel matters with fairness, compassion, and professionalism
- Builds leadership capacity within faculty and staff
5. Operational and Executive Leadership
- Serves as the chief executive officer of the school, overseeing daily operations and
long-term sustainability
- Develops and manages the annual budget in alignment with diocesan policies and
school priorities
- Ensures effective stewardship of financial, physical, and human resources
- Oversees facilities, safety, and maintenance of school buildings and grounds
- Implements and adheres to diocesan, canonical, federal, state, and local policies and
regulations
- Leads strategic planning efforts, including enrollment growth, marketing, and long-range
development
- Supports fundraising and advancement initiatives that align with the mission of the
school
- Ensures the school maintains accreditation and meets all required standards
6. Governance and Board Relations
- Works collaboratively with the School Board in areas of policy, planning, and strategic
direction
- Provides regular updates and recommendations to the Board
- Respects and supports the governance structure of Catholic schools within the Diocese
of Cheyenne
- Engages the Board in meaningful dialogue regarding the school’s mission, challenges,
and opportunities

Faith and Leadership

Education and Experience
- Master’s degree or higher in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of teaching and/or administrative experience
